A merchant can list an item while a postal service, courier, destination rule, battery restriction, or regional sales policy prevents delivery to you. Start with destination and product characteristics before comparing prices. Japan Post's live availability chart shows that accepted services differ by country and can change when transport capacity changes.
Four checks before checkout
Confirm that the merchant accepts your destination, the proposed carrier currently serves it, the product is permitted in that service, and your destination permits the item. Then separate item price from postage, tax, duty, brokerage, and return cost. A greyed-out service or unavailable rate is a stop signal, not an invitation to invent a shipping estimate.
