Translate scale into space
A scale ratio is useful only when paired with the represented subject and the product's stated dimensions. Non-scale figures, articulated objects, bases, effects, and raised accessories can occupy more space than the headline height suggests. Mark the full width, depth, and overhead clearance on the intended shelf before ordering.
Material changes the care problem
PVC, ABS, resin, metal, fabric, and mixed-media objects respond differently to heat, sunlight, dust, and handling. The manufacturer's care instructions control; broad material labels are not a substitute. Heavy or brittle pieces deserve stable surfaces and a plan for moving them without using delicate parts as handles.

Choose the object, not the render
Promotional imagery can communicate design but not always practical scale, surface finish, or final production variation. Look for official dimensions and material specifications, then decide whether the object fits the way you actually display and maintain a collection. A successful import is one that still makes sense after the unboxing moment.
