A release list with questions attached

This week’s edit connects four real records: two Switch 2 editions, a Kyoto-framed action RPG, and a figure rerelease. They are not ranked, and inclusion does not mean universal suitability. Each earns attention because it exposes a useful decision—edition, language, place, or configuration.

01–02: edition literacy

Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Switch 2 asks existing owners to compare a full physical edition with an upgrade path. Card-en-Ciel makes its edition case through measurable interaction and presentation changes, while its official language list gives importers firmer evidence than screenshots or store labels.

03–04: place and rerelease context

Kyoto Xanadu makes place central but remains a Japan-first language decision; region-free hardware compatibility is not English support. Nendoroid Amaterasu shows why a rerelease should be matched by maker, date, identifier, and configuration before it is compared with older aftermarket listings. All four use Japan Curate-owned editorial artwork rather than reused product photography.
